Member Event | “Framing American Democracy: Radical Roots” Exhibition Tour at The Wadsworth
Join us for an exclusive day trip on Friday, June 5 to The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT and enjoy a curator-led tour of Framing American Democracy: Radical Roots, a special exhibition commemorating the bicentennial of Frederic Church’s birth and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Framing American Democracy: Radical Roots untangles the Connecticut roots of American democracy and its legacy. Featuring a cross-section of objects ranging from paintings and sculptures to decorative arts and ephemera, this exhibition reflects on what American notions of freedom and liberty have meant at different moments in time and offers powerful lessons on the interplay between myth, memory, and history.

Cost
The cost of a member ticket is $145. Please note, a 3% fee is charged for all credit card purchases; to pay by check, please contact hdiamond@olana.org. Refunds can be issued for cancellations made by May 15, 2026. After that date, refunds will be processed on a case-by-case basis depending on if open spots can be filled.
