Member Event: A Closer Look with Curator Maggie Dimock
Join The Olana Partnership Associate Curator Maggie Dimock for an exclusive guided exploration of A Closer Look: Fallen Trees and Forest Floors.
Over decades, Frederic Church made detailed sketches recording trees and botanical details observed in the natural environment. Fallen Trees and Forest Floors focuses on a set of sketches of forest floors that served as references for Church’s finished easel paintings, offering visitors an opportunity to observe the artist’s process.
This is an exclusive member event. Space is limited to the member and a guest. RSVP is required. Email Hannah Diamond at hdiamond@olana.org or call 518-751-6857.
