An Afternoon Conversation and Celebration

Join The Olana Partnership for an engaging afternoon exploring the intersections of art and landscape, and architecture at Olana State Historic Site (or Frederic Church’s Olana). Celebrate the completion of the Frederic Church Center for Art & Landscape and the opening of the summer outdoor art exhibition What’s Missing? Artworks in the Olana Landscape by Ellen Harvey and Gabriela Salazar. Architects Kim Yao, Adam Yarinsky, and renowned Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects will discuss how their collaborative design for the Frederic Church Center responds to Frederic Church’s holistic design of Olana, and artists Ellen Harvey and Gabriela Salazar will introduce their site-specific commissions built upon the site of missing historic structures.
